Start left and follow easiest line to the left side of the broken pillar. At the top of the broken pillar, follow double cracks to the top of the ledge.

On the east end of Royal Columns between The Apprentice and Journeyman Crack.

Gear to 3 inches.

This route was surprisingly fun. Scramble/climb a 5.3 broken pillar to a ledge. From the ledge there are three crack systems the right crack is a 5.9 without any anchors. The center crack is the 5.5 and will reach anchors that are 30m up.
The 5.5 crack was much more fun than it looked and also a little stiff. I think it is more akin to 5.6s in the area. Typical loose stuff to be aware of. Jul 11, 2016
