● Grapes on Acid... or something
Mar 29, 2026 · Lead / Flash. For climbers over six feet tall, I recommend stick clipping the second bolt, and then climbing the technical face to the right of the first two bolts. Super fun vertical section. This climb is basically three stacked boulder problems, with lots of chill climbing and rests in between.

● Lana Del Spray
Feb 14, 2026 · Lead / Redpoint. Cool route, but not a 5.12 if you're over six feet tall... you can skip all the other smaller holds at the crux and just match the first large pocket into an undercling and then reach right up to the top-left-most pocket. On my first attempt I fell at the very top, which was wet. Sent a few minutes later after finding dry hands at the top. 5.11d seems right.

● Up All Snipe
Oct 14, 2024 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Aspiring 5.11 climbers should probably avoid this one. Stick clip 2nd bolt. 4th bolt is desperate unless you clip from the waist. Several other bolts are nail biters... you would definitely get hurt if you fell before clipping. The final roof section (from 2nd-to-last to last bolt) is pretty sustained and probably not 'Woodcock 5.11'. This is the only 5.11 I was unable to finish over the past several years, even with multiple hangs. Maybe I was reading the final section wrong, but seems much harder than the grade. I did enjoy the climbing style, but it's probably not an 11. I broke off a few small holds, including the best foot coming over the first roof crux.

Apr 3, 2016 · First pitch is bucket after bucket and probably 5.9. Second pitch is probably 10d and was a great line. Certainly the best line we did on the wall.

● Short Proof
Apr 3, 2016 · Casual beginning leads to a sweet finish. Crux is cutting feet at the top. Too bad the coolest moves are all manufactured... Would have been four stars if it were natural.

Apr 2, 2016 · Another 'Ledge, bomber clipping stance, ledge, bomber clipping stance' climb. I'm 6'1' with +2' ape index and thought climb was 5.9+. Partner is 5'10' with -1 ape and thought 5.10a, due to a single reachy move at the top... Otherwise ho-hum. Great rout
