Description Suggest change

This third bolted line downhill from the top of the Alcove and the first line to the left of Scorpion's Tail. The beginning 20 feet will be the crux of the climb up steep thin slab (5.9) up to the left side of the huecos. From the huecos follow the bolted line  left of Scorpion's Tail to the Belay ledge, or continue to the top of the East Ridge.

This route can be toproped using the 2nd set of bolts on the west side of the East Ridge.  Another option toproping from the large belay ledge. From the top of the East Ridge rappel about 30 ft to the belay ledge from the second set of bolts on the west side of the East Ridge.

Location Suggest change

Leaving the main trail below Scorpion's Tail follow a steep scramble trail up into The Alcove formed where the East & West ridges intersect. At present there are three routes climbing the west face of the East Ridge without belay pads. Belayers will need to be creative.
