Warning Access Issue: PERMIT REQUIRED DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

No permits required.

Follow bolts up steep slightly overhanging lower headwall to a set of quick-clip anchors. You can lower off these anchors for a short sustained workout on steep small holds. OR, continue up following bolts to the top end or the east ridge.

Location Suggest change

From bottom end of Scorpion Butte's East ridge locate the right most bolt line with mid belay anchors with quick-clips easily visible 50 to 60 ft up on top a slightly overhanging wall.

Top anchors are easily access at the very end on top the east ridge. A 60m rope will just reach the bottom, but be sure to knot the end of your rope before rappelling.
