Description Suggest change

One of the best routes of its grade on the island of Mingulay, certainly one of the best E1 (5.10) routes in Scotland. The location, the moves, the rock quality; what a journey. The first pitch is immaculate.

1) 150ft (5.10b) Stunning climbing. Start at a small left hand ledge. Climb up a small left facing corner and pull over a small overlap on its right side. Climb up immaculate rock diagonally left until you reach a small ledge. Belay here.

2) 80ft (5.9) Climbs a wall left of a slabby corner up to ledges above. Belay to the right below the large roof.

3) 100ft (5.10a) Pull through the roof and follow the juggy wall above all the way to the top. Outstanding.

Rappel directly down the wall to the ledges below. The route heads out left from the ledge.
