Description Suggest change

Delayed Gratification was named for a sticky situation where the drill died on me while drilling one of the bolts on the first pitch, well above the previous bolt. Not wanting to downclimb, I instead chose to run it out about 30 feet up and left to Please Clap and finished on that line. We ended up coming back the next day - this time with a battery that was actually charged and finished the line.

This is another line - not quite as sustained and committing as its neighbor but yet another great stepping stone on your slab journey.

P1. Step off from the big, flat boulder to dispatch a low crux before the climbing eases off significantly en route to a 2 bolt belay on a nice ledge, 5.8, 10 bolts, 100 feet.

P2. Easy, featured slab leads to a massive belay ledge below the right side of the hanging boulder at the top of the formation, 5.5, 6 bolts, 90 feet.

P3. Steep, heavily featured slab trends left and then right to a fun mantel to a good ledge at the base of the boulder. Nab another quick couple of bolts before hitting the final anchor, 5.5, 6 bolts, 95 feet.
