Description
Wonderland North is a great spot for folks wanting to place gear and jam. These areas tend to have more cracks than Wonderland South or the Castle View areas. Approaches here are longer, and as a result you would likely have more solitude as well. This is where documented development started in the Wonderland area. You'll also find a number of slab climbs - but far fewer fully bolted climbs and fewer formations than you might find in the Castle View and Wonderland South areas.
Be extra mindful of private property and JCOS boundaries up here if you're exploring.
Getting There
Refer to the individual crags for approaches as some may change the trailhead you approach from. You can also approach Wonderland North from Wonderland South, but it will involve some bushwhacking across ridgelines - so if you're just going to Wonderland North, it would be best to just hike straight out to where you're going.
