Description Suggest change

Fun crack in the sky above the lower Winnie's slide camp on Shuksan. See photos of location. We climbed it in September 2024 on a guide's training course.

If you're on the Chimney's route, have a single rack, and can climb 5.9, climbing this pitch 1 minute above camp will fill your cup :) Do yourself a favor and go climb it at sunset. Could easily set a TR on it as well with some 4th class scrambling to the ridge. Scramble to the ridge by scrambling directly up the base of the crack from camp and then going around the steep wall to the right or left.

Above Winnie's Slide camp on the Fisher Chimneys route Shuksan. See photos.

Protection Suggest change

Single rack from .3-2 protects this short fun route well. Can set an anchor with gear at the top in the crack or a large boulder 10 ft past the top of the ridge. Easy to scramble down 4th class from ridge top. No established anchor on top.
