Description Suggest change

Popsicle Toes is a great route for low-engagement day. It requires only a 20 minute approach from basecamp and has almost no avalanche danger. The first couple pitches check in at WI4, with the last, shorter pitch likely to be sustained WI5.

P1- WI4: Climb steep rolling ice to the base of the cliff.

P2- WI4: A long pitch of beautiful ice to the base of the fork.

P3- WI5: Steep and sustained to the top of the left fork.

Location Suggest change

Popsicle Toes is on the Popsicle Wall, which is the first major wall on the left as you enter Icefall Brook cirque. It's easy to identify, as it bears some resemblance to a tuning fork.  It lies directly above the basecamp area, and roughly another 10 minutes down valley to the Kirwin Hut.
