Description Suggest change

Long plum crack with a lot of fun movement! Combination of jams, and face climbing with a crack. We opted to aid the opening roof with a blue metolius and a #2 to access the main crack. This probably goes free at V4/V5ish using a big soft rock jug assuming it doesn't break, but the fall potential is serious using just the small cam in the roof. If aiding, we backcleaned and moved the belay to the lower ledge which made the rope run well.

Location Suggest change

Obvious from the road driving in. Butt crack roof to continuous crack at the NW tip of the camel formation.

Protection Suggest change

Blue metolius or equivalent for first piece. Double .4-2, a #3 and an optional 6. Lot's of small cams down to purple c3 size. You wouldn't be sad to have 3 or 4 of 0.2-0.3. A single 70 with shenanigans worked for us, but an 80 could be nice. 2 Bolt anchor with chains.
