Description
While exploring this sector developing "Real Eyes," I discovered a harder start and finish to "Turquoise" that adds several 10+ cruxes and goes completely on bolts. It makes an awesome first pitch into the classic second pitch "Upper 1" and sustained approach to "Real Eyes."
Begin on the right side of the fang-shaped boulder at the base, just right of "Green," climb the sustained blunt arete, at the rest step RIGHT link into the crux of "Turquoise," then move right to two more bolts before cutting back left under the tree to the anchor.
The grade assumes you continue up the second pitch, which is highly recommended. The first pitch may be closer to 10+ by Unaweep sandbag standards. Personally, I consider both pitches to be about the same grade, but the second feels a lot harder on the onsight.
