Description
On the central Lake Wall, to the right of the impressive Schue-Yandon icicle 'Dream Within a Dream,' there is a thin smear of ice. This route is not as visually striking as its neighbor, but I remember climbing relatively high before finding gear which made it fun. I recall the first pitch being a 70 meter rope-stretcher to reach ice thick enough for a belay. We felt obliged to finish to the trees with the remaining short pitch of ice. We made a short rappel from a dwarf evergreen to the first belay, and made a 70 meter rappel back down to the lake from here from a thread. The Oracle of Delphi remains unrepeated.
