Description Suggest change

Unfortunately, nature lost this one. Went to this zone in the spring of 2024 and found the tree split where it was rubbing against the rock. Cleaned it up and sent this amazing line. This rig is one of the best lines I’ve ever climbed. Long, hard, with amazing grips. Just another mega line in a zone of mega lines. Thanks for sharing JC.

Sit start the long over hanging crack on the far right side. Left hand in a low pocket, right hand on the flat edge at the very end of the crack. Pull on and use toe hooks on the other side of the block to move hands and get established in the crack proper. Climb the crack which starts slopey, with heel hooks and small feet. At about two thirds through the crack it turns juggy, but it’s still on you because of the over hanging nature. Climb all the way to the left end of the crack and set up to mantle to a small ledge utilizing a pocket that is in the perfect spot to facilitate finishing the boulder.  Mantle, shake out, and get ready to top out on shallow pockets. What a wild ride!

This is the first thing you see when you enter the zone. Can’t miss it!

Protection Suggest change

I used 3 pads but it only covered certain portions of the route. To safely pad this you would need at least 8. Make sure you have the end padded. A fall from the top is a long way down!
