Description
This is a nice link-up that connects P1 of Elephantiasis to P2 of the Ivory Tower. It allows climbing the 5.12a P2 of Ivory Tower without having to climb 5.13 to get to it. Both pitches have tricky route finding.
P1, 5.11a. Climb the 10b/c first pitch of Elephantiasis to the belay ledge, clip the first bolt on P2 with a long sling, then angle up and left following brown hangers around the arete to the belay atop P1 of Ivory Tower, 110’.
P2, 5.12a. Climb the techy P2 of Ivory Tower , 70’
Descent: a 70m rope is required to rappel from the P1 anchor on Ivory Tower.
