Your To-Do List:
Add To-Do ·- Lion's Head
- Roughneck Area
- Wildcatter Wall
Note that the annual closures of the Park View Dome, The Ranch Hand, Black Creek Wall, and Sawmill Crag have been permanently lifted. These cliffs will continue to be monitored, but will only close if a new nest is spotted.
Description
Essential Bolters is a great addition to this cool panel of stone and really brings the crag together. Begin by pulling some easier-than-they-look moves over the roof to access the cruxy headwall. Then engage in some technical slab moves on small holds that get increasingly harder-than-they-look. Taking the line directly up the bolts will make it a bit harder. What it lacks in height, it makes up with sustained cryptic goodness.
Location
Essential Bolters begins on the ledge just left of The Ramrod and is the first route encountered on the left side of this short, but sweet wall.
