Description Suggest change

Step up onto a ledge and follow a right facing corner up to heavily chalked, staggered rail by the second bolt. Even though you probably haven't done a 5th class move yet, it's a good place to shake out and chalk up.

Business time; traverse right along the rail until you're under the 3rd bolt on progressively smaller holds to steeper rock and then move up. Pull a mini boulder to gain a decent rest, then you're straight into the first crux. If a hold is covered in chalk, it's probably good. Too bad that next chalk covered hold is so far away- high feet and a big move!

Continue up through much easier rock for a few meters to yet another gap in the chalk stains. Yet again, high feet and a big move, remarkably similar to the first crux!

Pull up onto the finishing ledge, have a sit down rest and consider continuing up!

Draw beta:

Skip bolt 1, alpine draw bolt 2- make sure you go gates out, the hanger twists
High clip bolt 3 to avoid a slightly odd but not hard rose clip
Skip bolt 4, 1 more easy move gets you to the resting/clipping hold for bolt 5

Location Suggest change

Severe overhang on the left side of Blob Rock- starts from just above the first boulder in the gully (look for the right facing corner with lots of chalk). High, but safe first bolt, bolt line traverses slightly right.

Protection Suggest change

7 bolts, biner + cold shut anchor
