Description Suggest change

This is a sustained, fun, footwork-intensive slab climb. Start left of the hollowed-out water chute, step over, and brush aside an annoying prickly bush that conceals a key foothold. Cross over the top of the water chute, and work up a balancy flake. Cross back over left as the flake fades, and commit to the thin face around the middle to bottom of the upper third of the route. Negotiate the short crux with a tricky clip and a precise foothold exchange. The rock is splotched with bright multicolored splashes of lichen that give it an eye-baffling quality that makes the smallish footholds hard to see. The route eases toward the top but is still engaging with some positive underclings. There is a cool view over the top!

After climbing Free Roaming (which is essentially the first pitch of this route), walk left up the gully to the base of CJP. The belayer will probably have climbers going up the highly popular route I Can Hear You Now! just to their left.
