Description Suggest change

Sit start on a smooth block with a blue bonzai pine next to it. Traverse north using the lower sloper ledge and upper crimp ledge in the black streaks. Set up for a tensiony move to a good, right hand sidepull. Move your left hand to some crimps above the sidepull. Set up for a move to the knob on the arete. Top out straight up from here using holds on the face and the arete.

This has about 12-15 feet of traversing followed by an 8 foot topout.

Location Suggest change

This boulder is located immediately off the cliff line on the western fenced boundary of Hawkins Preserve. It's overhung by about 15 degrees, and there is a silver swastika spray painted on the boulder along with other graffiti. There is a lot of broken glass on the ground around here.

There are other good climbs on the face of this boulder and the boulders nearby.

The GPS coordinates are: 37.327237, -108.600212.

Protection Suggest change
