Description
This is another variation to the steeper and harder direct Crow's Nest Gully. As you approach the steep ice at the top of the gully break right up a thin ice slab moving around the head-wall and topping out to belay at the trees. The difficulty may be conditions dependent. I have seen it quite thin but I have also seen it fat enough to be comfortable and take some solid short screws.
