Description Suggest change

A steep face climb with several hard sections, and one devious crux. Quality! The crux is similar to the top slab move of Center Stage, and seems impossible at first.

Stick clip if you're nervous about the first few moves. Climb straight up to an overlap, step right, then go straight up using horizontals, sidepulls, and smeary feet. Gain a crack and follow this to a fixed anchor.

Location Suggest change

The most obvious feature on the cliff is a right-facing corner and tree-filled chimney on the right side of the steep face, which marks the start of Heat Wave. Begin 15' downhilll and left of this below an overlap 12' up.

Protection Suggest change

Sport. Fixed anchor.
