Description
Another excellent mixed climb in the same vein as Old Route, this one is a bit shorter, a bit wider, and a bit easier overall. There’s usually just enough ice to make crampons and at least one ice tool necessary. Climb the obvious deep, dark chimney.
Location
The route is visible from the approach trail, directly overhead as you near the cliff. Once you hit the base of the crag, head right about 100’ to the obvious chimney. It’s about 250’ right of Old Route.
Rappel with one rope from trees. Probably a good idea to bring extra cord, considering how long this route likely goes between ascents.
