Access Issue: Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

Description [Edit]

Face climb through pods and cracks beneath the roof. Long reaches between edges on the left line of the roof will get you through the crux to rejoin Vagini.

Location [Edit]

Start just uphill of the fixed line. This shares a start and finish with Vagini but veers left under the roof.

Protection [Edit]

6 bolts, 2-bolt anchor.

This is a boulder problem on an otherwise moderate route. However, it is a pretty cool roof problem, so it is worth the effort despite the short crux. This felt more like a 12a route than an 11d to me, but I am not the best at these types of moves. Apr 25, 2016
