Description Suggest change

Drive 32-km down Highway 40 from its intersection with the Trans Canada Highway. Park at where an old road/cutline angles in to the woods on the east side of the road. Hike up the cutline a couple hundred meters then beeline it directly though the forest and up the treed slope to the ice of Wedge Smear (WI3). The three routes are located immediately right of the main ice flow and are desribed from left to right. Descend all routes via rappel from V-thread. There are additional mixed lines to the right of the main flow (M5, 7, 8).

Location Suggest change

Drive 32-km down Highway 40 from its intersection with the Trans Canada Highway. Park at the Galatea Creek parking lot and walking 4 minutes north on the highway before rounding a right corner and seeing the path heading right into the woods. Follow the rightmost road and after walking 7 or 8 minutes you should easily spot the smear on the cliff to your right and ahead. Just go up the trees heading towards the ice.

Protection Suggest change
