This is at the back of the Cavalry Boulder. Locate the boulder with the horizontal crack on the far left side.

That is Sandman. If I remember correctly, it top out above the start holds. I have changed it to V3 with the more natural exit you did.

By start holds, do you mean the ones back in the cave? I started far back and traversed left until I could top out on good, chalky holds (visible in photo). That felt like the most natural line, but given the grading in the area, it felt potentially easier than V4. Aug 21, 2015

Did this for the 2nd time. I climbed it before back in high school (1998 maybe?). It is full value if you start way back in the cave and traverse the crack to where you can top out. Really fun! Mar 26, 2018
