Start sitting at the base of the shallow dihedral and lay-back your way up through some interesting hand sequencing. Shift around the arete when you get to the ledge at 12 feet. High feet makes some of the move a little awkward, but it is super techy and fun.

This ascends the left side of SW arete.

1-2 pads maybe a spotter.

I’m pretty familiar with Cavalry Boulder, and I’m not sure where this line is. Is it inside the chimney/split? The arete on the SW corner has a highball line, but it’s V1 and starts on the right side. What am I missing? Nov 30, 2018

That picture is not the problem. The problem starts in the small alcove created by the split boulder about 30-40 feet left of the unnamed V5 crack/arete problem on the Calvary Boulder.

Pete’s right. I deleted the pic. I think it was from one of the Extensions Boulders. Don’t know what I was thinking back in 2013.

There is a pretty hard project (maybe double digits) on the this boulder that I think some kids were trying a few years ago. Don’t know if they every got it. It's sort of on the side that faces the alcove. Nov 30, 2018 · Temporary Report
