From a sit on the left side of the downhill face, with your left hand on an edge on the left side of the arete, and your right on a block pinch, trend right, staying low through edges. Gain a crack and wrap around the corner.. and keep wrapping until you hit the north arete and top out. Long and pumpy, and it would be tough or scary to top out earlier.

The downhill side of the Great Eye Boulder.

Nice job Ian. I have been meaning to go back and try this line but never more then two pads and it looks scary! Sep 29, 2013

It is not so bad, with a spotter and a few pads this thing is totally doable and the moves are really fun. I could see alot of people really enjoying this one. This boulder is a short approach too... Sep 30, 2013

With a 20 ft piece of cord you can pull the branch back. There is a nice pinch between two boulders to tie it off just downhill. I should have mentioned that. Nov 11, 2013
