Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek Details
Access Issue: SEASONAL RAPTOR ISSUES Details

Description

Big hands in a low angle left facing corner leads to steeper hands up a right facing corner. Don't try to lower back down the route, just stay to the right of the pillar.

Location

Located behind a large pillar thats leaning against the wall to the right of Honey Pot.

Protection

Camalots: (6)3.0, (5)2.0 #3 Friends work better. 70m rope barely reaches when lowering off.

Be cautious approaching the #2 section up top. I pulled off a 50 lb block around thanksgiving, left it marked at the base of the route. Luckily I was able to lower off with it, but rockfall in that tight chimney would be a pretty bad time for your belayer/dog/rope Nov 28, 2018
