Description Suggest change

Upper Kegeti waterfall is approximately 30 meters of WI2-3 conditions.  There are short vertical sections at the base with mostly lumpy ice thereafter.  A walk-off to the left of the waterfall is easy.

Location Suggest change

This route is 26 kilometers fromt he start of the canyon on the left hand side of the road. The Kegeti road has multiple frozen river crossings and sections with blown in snow.  The waterfall is clearly visible on the right and only a short walk is required to hike to the base of the waterfall.

Protection Suggest change

Standard ice screw protection will work.
