Description

A cool circular cutout (the lidless eye) marks the start of this route. Get up into the eye and work your way onto the left angling ramp. Continue up it to the left of where your anchors are and then back right. Heading straight up to the anchors will be slightly harder.

Location

The middle section of the main face hosts 4 bolted lines. This is the second from the left and starts at the obvious circular scar.

Protection

4 bolts to Quick Clips

Small correction: The name should be "The Lidless Eye" not "...Eyes", as in the Lord of the Rings. Feb 14, 2012

Cool, short climb. Thoughtful first couple of moves allow you to gain a ledge and then clip the next bolt. Definitely a possibility of a ground fall before clipping this bolt depending on weight ratio between belayer and climber. Jul 15, 2017
