Description

Slopers, heelhooks, and fun. This problem traverses the lip of an overhanging boulder with some good movement and tops out with positive holds on an arete. Sit start the right side of the boulder with a left hand jug above your head and a massive right hand flake/jug. Pull off the ground, heelhook, then follow the rising lip to the left. Once you gain the top arete, rock over onto the face and run to the top.

Location

This problem is sitting directly across from the trail to the Upper Cliff, next to Locomotive Breath. Downclimb the slab opposite the trail.

I started left hand undercling on the big flake and right hand on top. Moved out left above the good hold, then swapped feet and got a right heel-toe cam in the big flake. It worked really well. I used a big foot down and right for the start. Flashed it. Sep 14, 2016

Yeah I'd like to revisit it to find good beta, because I ended up just like campusing the slopers, and it seemed like a good solution existed. Jul 28, 2015

I felt this was pretty darn hard too, I tried it a few ways hoping to find what I was missing!! Jul 28, 2015

I probably missed something, but this felt really hard, I really just wanted to reach out left off the start or a move in or so and climb it kinda like Throng. My beta was probably terrible, and conditions weren't sloper-friendly. Took me more tries than Flower Child or whatever the left arete line is. Oh well, something else to do, but four stars?
