RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

The start of this route is technical and uses a left facing flake which soon brings you to a right facing flake. Many edges and seems with positive yet steep holds will bring you to the bolted summit.

I agree with Tane -- this felt a little harder than 11a to me. Quite fun though, with some unexpected big moves Aug 20, 2014

Take this comment for what it's worth to you, maybe nothing. The route is fun, but, if you are going for the true onsight (after recent rain with no chalk on the wall), then expect 11c climbing. But, grades are totally subjective, and it may have just not fit my style, which I can accept.

I also had the same feelings to the route on the right of this. Sep 19, 2013

On 3/6/13, the ASCA replaced one anchor bolt with a 1/2" x 2.75" SS 5-piece bolt and equipped both hangers with quicklinks. Mar 6, 2013

Fantastic route with a devious (but well protected) crux- it may be worth stick clipping the second bolt if this route is at your limit. Sep 9, 2010
