Black Rocks is in the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve redcliffsdesertreserve.com/. No climbing is allowed at Black Rocks from March 15 through June 30 in order to provide an undisturbed environment for Desert Tortoise en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gophe… mating.
In addition, all pets in the Reserve must be kept on a leash at all times.
Description
Short but fun. This is a great crack that is just a nice, fun warmup. I was too busy enjoying myself to notice a crux, but the loose block (pretty well wedged in there) was a little spooky. Unfortunately, the route is really short, but that isn't too different from other routes in the area.
