A popular easy lead, Jacob's Ladder is a lot of fun for the grade. As the name implies, it's got plenty of juggy holds, which you'll be glad to have when you see the first bolt is about 20' off the deck. A nice long route too.

A slightly overhanging start leads to nice climbing on a blocky corner, following bolts and fixed pins to the top.

Red Light District, near the end of the wall just left of Pocket Pool.

Six bolts/fixed pins; bolted anchors.

This one wasn't as easy as I remembered. Fun to get back on it after so long. Sep 6, 2008

This route was the only thing dry besides the Bunker routes. It's mostly slab! How is that even possible? Cool, fun route. Mar 16, 2010

Had trouble first time getting exact location as some new routes have been added to the left of Red Light District. Jacob's is inbetween Red Light District and the waterfall. 150-200 feet to the left of Red Light District. Route was measured to be 60-65 feet. Nov 1, 2011

Great route to warm up on. Oct 23, 2012
One of the anchor bolts is bad. I tried to tighten it with a nut tool but the whole bolt was loose. I would love if someone would fix it cause it's a great climb. Jun 28, 2015

Found two quickdraws yesterday (8/28/16) near the top of the route. If you can PM me about what time they were there and what type of quickdraws they are I'll be happy to return them. Aug 29, 2016

Here's a youtube video of me climbing the route for your reference. We clipped in to the first bolt on the route next to it just in case.

Would be a 4* if the first bolt wasn't so high. Great climbing for the grade. Feb 19, 2018

Super fun for a 5.8. That first bolt being so high is a little spooky but it's very easy climbing to that point. After that it's all big fun juggy moves. Highly recommend this one. Aug 27, 2018
