Description

South facing pinnacle in Hackberry Creek area. A fun, consistent climb with many horizontal seams and bomber pockets. Bolts with quicklinks and leaver biners (leave them there, please).Two ropes to descend.

Location

Hackberry creek area, west of the waterfall. The route goes up the left side of the pinnacle.

Protection

5 bolts over 130', can supplement with sm-med cams/tricams in horizontal cracks.

Good pro between bolts. Easier than "Thing". Rapped to the ground with Blue Water 70 (with stretch, but yes to ground). Could be a great looooong top-rope! Feb 10, 2013

Now when I solo this or Ain't Nothing but a thing (which is better), I just use a 60 m rope, which gets to the lower crack of "thing" and can downclimb. Saves carrying 2 ropes! Jun 15, 2009
