Not sure where the crux is for this route. I didn't notice one. This is a compelling line. Nice climbing inside and outside the wandering crack. Good protection on decent rock. A bit dirty, but probably because of the low traffic?


Just right (3 meters) of "Smokin the Toad". Route 45 in marty's pocket guide. Can't miss the nice looking crack. We used the same top anchors to belay and rap.


Standard rack, but perhaps supplement with mid-sized cams.

Tougher than "Toad". Good pro the whole way with some strenuous placements. Looooooong and sustained at the grade. No really hard parts, just endurance. I did not use any of the bolts. As with "Thing, I rapped to ground completely with a Blue Water 70m. Feb 10, 2013
