A short, bouldery route on far left of Gateway Rock. Nice jugs on steep terrain down low lead to slabbish climbing on the upper section. Well bolted.

Far left side of Gateway Rock. Listed as route #1 on route topo photo for Las Conchas Gateway Rock.

Four bolts to three-bolt anchor situation.

Lead this route for the first time last night and found it to be pretty fun. I think 5.10d may be a little high of a rank just based on the length of the climb but did find 3-4 of the moves between bolts 1 and 3 to be physical, which gave it a bouldery feeling. Overall, very quick lead without any hiccups and with 4 bolts and anchors in 30', you feel extremely well protected! Jul 28, 2016
