West chimney route...

Weaver's Needle from the west. The route goes up to the notch between the summits, then follows the ridge leading up and left. It isn't as steep as it looks!

Never happened to me before but..... I got my carabiner wedged and couldn't free it without SERIOUS yanking, so I let it stay. Left bolt on the chockstone.

Downclimbing from the summit

Phenomenal views of the Superstition Mountains from the route.

Lee starting the rap, from the top of the 2nd pitch. We used a fixed line that someone left, to rap down - not sure how long it will be there.

Elevation Change Trail 235 to 234 and summit. 102 back to parking lot.
