This is the view up from the top of P4 (at the gear anchor above the finger cracks). Head directly up, across the moss streak. It's easy climbing, but completely runout, no pro for about 100 feet until you get to the rock bulge with a brown shrub just right of the center of this photo. You'll find pro near the shrub. Trending right from there gets you to a thread belay at a jumble of rocks. It had rained 2 days before, so this area was pretty wet.

P1 and P2 of "Beginner's Easy Variation". P1 usually follows the right-facing flake on the left of the photo up to the large pine tree (rap station) at upper left. P2 traverses right, then up around the corner, and up to the big pine at the top center of the photo. The big crack that's partially in shadow in the photo is the easiest way up. Watch for lots of loose pebbly rock at the top of P2.
