Aug 5, 2026 · 2 pitches. Lead / Redpoint. w Bill. Led P1 and P2. Tried to run them together, but got noticeable drag while heading up P2. Came back down about 30% of the way up, brought Bill up, led P2. No drag if done this way. Maybe I'm just too picky about drag.

Jul 27, 2026 · 2 pitches. Lead. From buttress. Led P1 to anchors, then lowered down to try to figure out drag. Now I see! Set up belay, Bill led to beefy tree at top of P2. Rapped down to ledge/buttress (1 rap on 70 m rope). No problems pulling the rope.

YMMV but we rapped down with our 70 m and got back to the ledge and starting buttress with room to spare. The rope did not get stuck on anything while pulling, yay! It all came down on the ledge.
