AK has quite a bit of easy access ice aside from keystone.

The overhanging twin crack at movement/planet granite in San Francisco is a solid contender. The fun level+( proximity to sauna^2 ) score is off the charts.

The “beer routes” in Field, BC. Multiple pitches of 3, 4, 5 and 6 all within a 5min drive and 15min approach of one another, just off the highway.

As someone who lives full time in the southeast, i would always have to discount the travel. I think the upper weeping wall tops my list according to OP. Second would be the Quebec City area. Once in a storm we walked from the motel to the "Chutes". Have also had big, easy walk days at Pont Rouge when the river was well frozen. The beer routes in Field also deliver the goods.

Weeping wall is definitely up there with the best value, bang for your buck, ROI whatever you want to call it as chutes and la Whittom in saguenay. Pretty amazing both spots have 220m ice climbs a 10 minute walk from where you park.

You’re the second to ref the beer climbs so sounds like I need to check them out.

Also, how has no one mentioned Broken Hearts in Cody?

I wouldnt call that a bad approach but it aint exactly a belay off the bumper stuation. The hiking between pitches maybe disqualifies it a bit also?

I agree, but Cody has its own special vibe and BH has probably the best ROI for that area.

Aren't these avy-inadvisable like 95% of the time though

Speaking of beer routes... Low reward, even lower effort

Keystone Canyon in Valdez.  You can throw a snowball from the road and almost hit Greensteps and Bridal Veil.

You’ve got one hell of an arm. Lol

Definitely hazard but they are avy controlled because of the rail road at the base and seem to be a go-to for locals. I would say forecast dependent for sure, but plenty of times when it's climbable.

Mount Lincoln in Colorado has a lot of ice climbing without too much of a hike.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
