Hey Y'all!
I am making T-Shirts of the most famous north american classic climbs and would love some feedback. I could not find a cool memory piece other than the hole in my pants for climbing some classics so I started making my own. So far I have done artworks for Epinephrine and Ancient Art. Coming soon are High E and CCK. There is a small section on the side that Honors the FA's by their name, text about location and GPS coordinates of the start.
I am getting really High-Quality, Eco-friendly shirts that will last a little longer so you can wear it outside / in the gym. Front logo is embroidered and back is a durable High-Quailty print. I would love some feedback for: What climbs would you like to see? Maybe some Alpine Classics too? Artworks for whole Climbing Areas could be cool? Isa T-Shirt a good Idea or should it be something else? I don't know maybe Mugs?
Next planned to work on will be the following:
Monkey Face (added) IIII I
Yosemite (general area) (added) III
Eldorado Canyon (general area) (added) III
Naked Edge (added) III
Walk of Shame (added) III Castleton Tower (added) IIII Exum Ridge - Grand Teton (added) IIII The Dangler (added) III Red Rocks (general area) (added) III
Incredible Hulk (all routes) (added)II NAZ classics, The Mace, Dr. Rubo's (added) Moby Grape (added)I MosesTower (added) Moonlight Buttress (added) Outer Space, MJ Dihedral (added) Prusik Peak, SE Face (added) Predator Rumney (added) Recompense / Northeast Ridge of Pinnacle Buttress (added) RNWF Half Dome Snow Creek Wall - Iconoclast, (added) Stawamus chief, Denali, Rainier (added) Swan slab gulley (added) Tahquitz, Idyllwild (as a whole) The Nose (and surrounding routes) I The Prow Whitney G (added)
Added later: Zodiac Pervertical Sanctuary, Longs Peak Sister superior - Jah Man RIP Castle valley in general Both six shooters and landscape Acid Baby in the enchantments - could make this one trippy Dragon Tail Slash face (the boulder) Planet X (the boulder) Rostrum Astroman Hotline (on Elephant Rock) Moratorium South by Southwest (Cathedral Spire) Steck-Salathe LA Chimney Gunsight to South Peak of Seneca Rocks Pleasant Overhangs Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
What I have done so far you can check out here: Classicclimbs.wtf Also playing with color schemes I am doing a "normal version" of each artwork with different colored shirts to choose, a "heavy-metal" color option and a "USA" color option.
Here is a preview: USA colors
Heavy-metal colors Normal colors

Prusik Peak, SE Face, would probably do well among the PNW crowd. Or there might be more creative potential in the Snow Creek Wall- Iconoclast, Outer Space, MJ Dihedral- classics with names that evoke an image or vibe.

My extremely classic and totally not at all contrived, chossy, or covered in lichen FA!

I'd be stoked about some NAZ classics like the Mace or Dr. Rubo's but I know everyone likes the Moab area more... Really cool concept though, I like the metal style ones a lot!

This looks cool AF! Love how you have the classics in Northeast and looking forward to get them to commemorate my first time doing those classics! Would Recompense/Northeast Ridge of Pinnacle Buttress/The Dangler be classic enough make the cut?

Curious about why you decided on embroidery. I went for embroidered as it lasts longer and it looks more elevated. A lot of companys I've seen recently do embroidery - like the shirts with climbing shoes icons - I am sure you have seen them. I can def. make printed logo versions too!

These are super cool. Stoked to see what else you come up with. Awesome to see some original climbing artwork. Just a friendly suggestion: if I’m being asked to pay a few cents less than $49 shipped for a t-shirt I want to know more about the shirts being used than what’s on your product page. A link to the actual shirts you are sourcing or at least the brand, type of cotton, knit type etc. Eta- not trying to imply its not a great value and amazing product- just thinking about how much t-shirt quality varies.

BRO. THESE GO HARD AF WOW. I love the black and red, white with red (or any other color) accents would also be cool. I'm super into the comic-book, heavy-metal motif so I'm really really really digging your style. Posters would be SICK! I'd absolutely buy some. I'm bookmarking your site. I fourth a Monkey Face, I know about 800 people who would go feral for that. I also suggest Tahquitz (as a whole) in Idyllwild and "Predator" at Rumney.

In general: Price is high right now as I am just starting out - the margins are pretty bad until I can preo-order bulk. I still want to use high quality garments and printing though - not the Gildan, Hanes crap. etc. Same for printing - I'd rather go for embroidered logo and high-quality print that lasts at least 60 washing cycles than some cheap compromise and you are all disappointend in the end.
