5.9 5c 17 VI 17 HVS 5a 145 ● Sweet Thin Nov 26, 2025 · 6 pitches. Lead / Onsight. We did the first 2 of mayday malefactors- fun and facey, and skip most of the short p3. I got the flake pitch- super unique, and slightly stressful since it’s just so damn thin. I took the left, thinner hand crack to finish, which was fun. Krain got the wide pitch and cruised up it- 3 and 4 useful, no #5 needed but there was a fixed one, which we spent a while on and managed to free! From humerus ledge we rapped to the p4 belay on armatron. Krain lowered and ran up the money pitches alongside our friends. We finished on the last pitch of sweet thin, which was a bit more of a grunt than I expected. More sustained than Armatron and imo a bit better, and avoids the usual shitshow there.
