My dog is the best driver, but only drives manual transmission cars. She’s an elitist. Only bites people that climb 12.c or better. |

I can see that you have all been carrying on just fine without me, but I thought I'd drop in and share of picture of Luna (front and center) out with the girls. It looks like a fashion shoot! They're all waiting for me to throw the stick! |

Luna's best friend is the silver/brown lab with the red collar directly behind her. When they have sleep overs they trade beds :). Great dogs! Coming to a sandstone crag near you! On the wet sandstone sharp claws really help! |

Dogs were domesticated in the Upper Paleolithic stone age 30,000 years ago, when all humans had were sharpened stone tools. It wasn't util the Neolithic revolution 10,000 years ago that humans started agriculture, made pottery, and domesticated other animals like sheep, goats, boar, and cattle. So dogs really are man's best friend. |

You don’t need to sue before asking for med bills paid, but should get phone and ID and copy name and address and report to animal control. If they don’t have rabies vaccination then you need to get vaccinated for it. Also carry pepper spray . |

Any dog that weighs as much as an adult - over 100 pounds, and the breeds known to kill - needs to be watched carefully. Had anyone defended themselves from a dog and then had to defend themselves from the dogs human? |

Gloweringwrote: What’s a single mixed breed? Doesn’t “mixed” make them multiple by default? I’m assuming it’s only mixed with one other breed and a designer dog like all the damn doodles out there? |

grug gwrote: These dogs snap quickly from my experience, definitely a combination of breed+ shitty owners= sketch dogs. The crazy thing is unlike most dogs that bite ankles and legs, this breed tends to go for the head and neck first. |

Not Not MP Adminwrote: Sorry I wrote that quickly I meant 2 death from an an individual mixed breed dog. As opposed to two or more dogs attacking.
In all likelihood the main factor if a dog will attack is that particular dog’s temperament. Pit bulls have a better temperament on average and bite less often than some other breeds. But because they’re big powerful dogs the minority that will attack cause more damage like other big dogs. Statistically there is little difference between a pit bull and a Rottweiler per individual dog. But even Labradors which have among the best average temperament have some bad individuals and have some fatal attacks. A bad owner can make the situation worse and ruin even a good dog, but it’s seems the individual dog’s temperament and if they’re in a pack and resort to hunting instincts are the biggest factors. How does a Pit Bull go for the head and neck first on a 5’ tall human? Small dogs are ankle biters because that’s what the can reach. |
