I'd guess there are about 10 trolls, and how emotional are you going to get about climbing? If you scan the latest posts, most come and go with a few responses, if any. The real beauty of MP is that we all (mostly) prefer actual climbing to arguing about it. In the recent past, the thread about the bolt chopping at Pike's Peak was serious enough that trolling was possible. Threads about serious accidents are certainly subject to trolling as well. But most of MP is low stakes. Being a smart ass or simply contrarian isn't trolling.

Did y'all know there was a mountain project user troll doll made? Complete with batons that double as butt plugs as well.
The realism is uncanny!

The actual definition of "interaction" is what you see here. Sending people your email and phone number instead of just communicating here in public fits into the definition of "creepy" way more than scary. I typically reserve my precious bowling and go carting time for non creepers. Namaste.

I'd expect more of these from Trevor; it's raining heavily here in the PNW and may for months to come.  Early onset cabin fever?

This thread is proof of concept. So far little discussion, heavy heavy emphasis/ borderline obsession with me rather than using talking points. Marc/Montoya you havent even stated whether you agree with the topic at hand? So far many users agree we are all trolls, so why focus on me so much?

I would agree with you Trevor and I jumped on the Troll wagon a couple of years ago, as our forums fell into the political trash can.  Every thread ended in some kind of polarized argument.

We are still having fun, it’s just not that productive
