Oldest piece of gear you still climb with?

What's the oldest piece of gear on your rack that you still regularly climb with? [hardware only, your longjohns from 1962 don't count]

Mine would be BD Stoppers #5 and #6 from 1994, so not too old. All the others from that set have either been left for raps, ruined, or shelved in favor of other chocks of comparable size. What's yours?

45-year-old grey matter.

I guess the single stem Camalots are the oldest gear I still have on the rack.

I have an aluminum Chouinard Stopper. Uncle bought it somtime in the 70s. Don't place it often but sometimes it fits perfectly.

Until last year it was an original rigid stem #2 friend a friends dad gave me. He climbed with it when it was new, then stopped climbing and gave it to me. It still works great! now it is my quick draws from 2002, not that old, but everyone I climb with thinks they should be in a museum.

I have maybe ten hand forged, in Ventura, Chouinard Lost Arrows. I also have a couple of my big brother's Chouinard D's from the early seventies that are on my rack as I write this.

My Wild Country curved stoppers from the early 80's. I still place them every time I lead a trad route. And I'm someone who always has to have the latest and greatest!

I used my "doubles" set of stoppers at Lumpy last week, many of which date from 1976/77. (I like the less curve the have.) I still use original Friends when I go to the desert, some of those are almost as old and still work well. (Why would I get rid of something I paid 22 bucks for?) Like others, same Leeper nut pick from 1975, and when I bail, I like to leave a blue gate Bonati D if I had thought to bring one. [I got rid of the long-johns, this new material is great!)

Chouinard Stoppers and RP brass nuts from 1976. That is a great return on investment.

I still dust off a pair of PR shoes resoled with "Brand X" from The Cobbler Mtn Shop. Stiff as hell and great for off width fun.

Some soft-iron pitons gleaned from various Kor and Carter routes in the desert. Their malleable nature means they place easy and tend to "stick" a little better.

In the vein of this thread, here's a fun site:

A chouinard hex that is the size up from the largest BD stoppers.

I bootied it off a route, put on a new sling, and love it!

I just upgraded my Stoppers to the colourful ones. That leaves me with my 11 year old Black Diamond Hexes.

Hmmm... Well, I wore my blue kaukulators for most of the climbing at Vedauvoo this weekend. They are from 1994 and still get regular use!
But I also use my stoppers, most of which are from ~1990, or older.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
