Description Suggest change

On the right (northeast) side of Ash Canyon there is a small, unnamed side canyon. This wall is the obvious cliff on the left (southwest) side of the side canyon. The smooth, brown face on the left end of the wall is visible from the parking lot.

The wall has a northeast aspect that will get very little sun except for spring mornings, and a southeast aspect containing the smooth face that is in the sun until the afternoon.

There are a few undocumented sport routes with some interesting features.

Getting There Suggest change

Similar approach as for the Mr. Smiley boulders. From the west end of the Kraft parking lot, follow a trail that stays on the hillside to the right (north) of the main Ash Spring area until you get close to the side canyon, then wind up on a loosely defined social trail to get into the canyon. ~20 minutes.
