Description

Valparola Pass crags primarily consists of a major sport climbing area call Sass Dlacia which as just downhill and northeast of the pass. There are other scattered climbing areas here as well. The pass itself has a great WWI museum and some very interesting ruins to explore

Getting There

To access the crags near Valparola pass, drive to Falzarego pass then turn north then descend the road northwest (road SP24 then on SP 37) past Valparola pass and down to the hairpin turns after which you will see "Camping Sass Dlacia." You can park there or immediately after that turn east and head up to "Rifugio Capanna Alpina" where you need to pay and park. Hike up the crag.
