Local ethics and refuge regulations are that no bolting is permitted unless expressly authorized by the park. Leave the hammer and nails at home, no fixed gear please. Everything will go clean.

Description

Hot Wheels is a small collection of mixed grade boulders south of Luxor and is easily identifiable from the road by the razor Arete (Twice As Knife) that can be seen walking or driving by uphill about 100’. The razor faces SE.

The separate boulders listed will be left to right as seen from the road or south to north. They are all very close together but wanted to add this for clarity in case more are added to the area. If new problems are not immediately adjacent to these please add a new sub area to Luxor Vicinity Bouldering.

Getting There

Park at Pullout 3 going uphill. Walk uphill on the road for 200-300’ and keep looking left up the slope. You should see a sharp razor Arete or if you miss that a slanted splitter hand crack facing the road.
