Description Suggest change

A secluded tower in a beautiful canyon. The best approach is to rap in from the top. It would also be possible to access it from the river, however, it would take much longer.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the trailhead. Pin: 39°06'38.7"N 110°42'45.3"W

Walk through the fence and down the hill. Take a right down the wash.

Take a left on the next wash, should be marked with cairn. Pic below.

Walk up the hill, and do your best to avoid crypto.

On top of the hill you're looking down into a valley with large pine trees ( very cool canyon ). Walk down the slab and head to the lookers left of the small tower. Pin 39°06'24.0"N 110°43'17.2"W  Pic Below.

From here head SW towards the slab.

Up the slab head SW to the overlook of the San Raf River. Pic Below.

Follow the rim of the overlook West ( right ) till you pick up a faint trail / wash.

This will lead you to the other side of the canyon. From here follow the rim to the rappel anchors. There is a cairn here by a dead tree. Pin: 39°06'33.8"N 110°43'52.0"W

Takes about 45min – 1hr. Please do your best to avoid crypto.
