Description

A long series of cliff bands with a wide variety of climbing. The cliffs have a N/NW aspect and the upper tiers can be seen when heading east from Keene Valley above the parking lot for Hurricane. This is just west of Lock Ness.

Getting There

Take Rt 9N west towards Keene. Park at the end of the guardrails 400yds west of the "Leaving Keene" sign on the northside of 9N. Cross the stream and up an open ridge that diagonals up right. The ice starts with short blobs of ice just after crossing the stream. Head up the ridge 5-10 minutes to the first longer route.
